| I am not really in the bloggin' mood but since it has been a week or so
since my last entry I figured I better think of something. A big
thanks to everyone who came home for Christmas and spent time with us
this year. It was a wonderful Christmas thanks to wonderful friends and
family being by our side. Everyone is gone home now though and Buck and
I finally have our house back. We aren't enjoying it as much as we
thought we would tho... it is way too quiet! Duchess is still OCD
over the stupid ball. Give it a couple weeks and I am sure it will end
up in the trash along with the others. Or maybe Sam would like to have
it. . .
Buck talked me into letting him open his bday present early yesterday.
His excuse "Mary is going home today and she won't get to see me open
it." It worked.... he spent 2
hours last night laying on the couch in his underwear watching part
of season one of "King Of The Hill". Tell me if that isn't a bad
redneck joke just screaming Jeff Foxworthys name.
Not much else going on..... I am supposed to babysit today but I
haven't heard anything from the family so who knows if they will show
or not. Tomorrow I am working at the group home and then its out
to eat for Bucks bday. I want to take him to Joe's Crap Shack and
embarrass him but he will get revenge... i think i will play it safe
and let him pick the restaraunt. I will take pics if they do anything
fun! We might be going to Moonshine Moutain as well. It's a tube run in
hendersonville that this guy built in his back yard ona moutain
side. Yet another redneck joke in the making.

| Only 3 days, 11 hours until Christmas. YIPEE!!! I am so excited that I am getting to see so many of my friends and family over the holidays this year. Matt is here and all is going well. He has been helping me with babysitting jobs. . . not a joy for him but I am getting a kick out of watching him interact with the kids. HAHAHA!
I can't wait until Buck opens his presents. I want to see his face. I didn't get him anything he asked for but I got a lot of things that he really wanted and will really like. :)
Travis got a new puppy. It's so cute! His name is Sam. He is a baby rotweiller (spelling???)

| Only 6 more days until Christmas! I can't wait to give everyone their presents. It is so hard not to let Buck open all of his. I am so excited that Matty will be staying with us. He will help provide sanity, which is really needed at this point. I don't want to go into detail over whats going on but I will say this....
MY FAMILY IS MORE NUTS THAN I THOUGHT!
I can't wait to see Anna and Bonnie and Justin. I haven't seen Bon and Justin since the wedding.... 3 months ago. Oh well, we are all busy. I hope that we all get together as we are planning to do.
I am doing a lot of babysitting and some fill-in work at the group home this week and next. I am happy that I don't have to work my regular schedule though. This is a nice break from having a whole class of kids. :)
Not much else going on at the moment, other than Duchess barking at me because I am ignoring her and not throwing her ball for her. I will update again as soon as something interesting is going on. LOL
Oh yeah..... IT"S SUPPOSED TO SNOW!!!!!!! Not much accumulation but it is supposed to start this afternoon... it is already really cloudy and the temp is dropping. WOOHOO!!!! | | |
| What a week! Mom has a really nasty virus so I covered her Tuesday and Wednesday night at the group home. I have been doing some extra babysitting on Tuesday and Thursday mornings so this week my schedule has looked like this...
at work/or babysitting at 8:15 until 1:00. run here and there and everywhere doing errands from 1-1:45. afterschool 2:00 - 6:00. straight from work to work at the group home until 8:00 the following morning. then it starts all over again. Last night I finally got to come back home for the first time in two days. Man I missed my own bed!!!!
To those of you that I was supposed to call this week, I am sorry I haven't called, things have just been crazy! OH CRAP! I gotta go, i forgot to mail the xmas leters out yesterday. ... | | |
